ABOUT WOLF PACK LEADERSHIP

"Mentors strengthening the ranks...
teaching leaders to lead."
Wolf Pack Leadership’s core mission is to educate youth in the DC Metropolitan area about the life choices available to them and encourage them to take higher paths. We will provide engaging and positive after school outlets, during the peak hours of violence from 4 to 8 pm, through the establishment of Wolf Pack “Dens” or drop-in centers through the District. Our programming will utilizing Military style leadership inspired by our founders, incorporating tutoring and sports learning activities gathered from the skills of our volunteer mentors. In addition we will provide training on interviewing, networking and soft skills to prepare our participants for entrance into the workplace.
Our secondary goal is to build a mentoring “brain trust” or “think tank” where experienced leaders can teach emerging leaders best-practices for mentoring and provide an arena for the exchange of ideas and development of innovative methodologies and strategies for youth outreach and leadership training. In recruiting or network of volunteers that will serve as mentors to area youth, we will focus on building a diverse network of business professionals working a variety of industries throughout the city who are committed to investing in the lives of the city's youth.

OUR STORY
/
THE WOLF
Inspired by the instinctive and protective nature of wolves, Wolf Pack Leadership was formed by a group of military officers in 2004. Much like the wolf, Wolf Pack Leadership seeks to secure the well-being of future generations by building character, leadership, loyalty, dedication and instilling a sense of self-sufficiency in participants of our program.
The wolf symbolizes the creative use of talents, and they are best working as a team. For this reason, team building and leadership skills are very important to wolves. They are efficient and so progressive in nature that even the female can prove to be the Alpha wolf.
Wolf Pack Leadership uses the way of the wolf to structure character and principle building programming for youth throughout the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area.
